The origin of the Hawaiian Bracelet and the start of Heirloom Hawaiian Jewelry.
1887 was the jubilee celebration of Queen Victoria of England. Queen Kapiolani and Princess Liliuokalani attended the celebrations in England. At this time, the gold Hawaiian bracelets showed up, gifted to the ladies of the Hawaiian Delegation. The bracelets, at the time, had black enamel names. The artwork and scrolling designs are a modern feature that was added to Hawaiian Jewelry much later on.
The traditions of the Hawaiian Jewelry has been passed down to celebrate many occasions, milestones, birthdays, graduations, wedding anniversaries and holidays.
